There are basically 2 kinds of regime to be observed by both drug addicts and alcoholics:<\/strong><\/p>\n

REGIME REMARKS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong>1.\u00a0 <\/strong>Do not execute this program to patients<\/strong> who have heart problem, glaucoma or urinary problem<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. <\/strong>Reducing<\/strong> the <\/strong>methadone<\/strong> or drug intake to the <\/strong>very <\/strong>minimum<\/strong> <\/strong>amount before commencing this <\/strong>schedule<\/strong> shall greatly enhance the effect of this program<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 <\/strong>Thoroughly clean up the bedroom, use fresh cloth<\/strong>ing<\/strong> and bedding to get rid of any drug<\/strong> (methadone)<\/strong> scent.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 <\/strong>Prepare <\/strong>a totally secluded environment<\/strong> for the patient<\/strong>. Guard off phone call or outside contact. Monitor the whole treatment by family<\/strong> <\/strong>members, doctors and nurses. <\/strong>Prevent<\/strong> any possible drug \/ alcohol use by the patients.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/strong>Prepare a complete <\/strong>Dispensing <\/span><\/strong>Time Table<\/span><\/strong><\/span> <\/strong>chart<\/strong> for this 20 days program<\/strong> and observe it strictl<\/strong>y. Record<\/strong> the accurate quantity of<\/strong> the intake.<\/strong> <\/strong>Speed of intake: One capsule per minute<\/span>. Take the capsule at a sit-up position with plenty of warm water (add honey if needed), helped by tapping the back of patient to avoid possible vomiting.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6. <\/strong><\/strong>During the first 10 days<\/strong> some<\/strong> acupuncture and massag<\/strong>ing<\/strong> are recommended to <\/strong>help e<\/strong>ase the discomfort<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 <\/strong>Avoid drinking tea, coffee<\/strong> or smoking<\/strong> during the treatment period. Drink a pint of salt-diluted water each morning to help bowl movement.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 <\/strong>For strong young <\/strong>addicts unwilling to be detoxed<\/strong>, <\/strong>attention<\/strong> should be <\/strong>given<\/strong> to <\/strong>prevent<\/strong> the possible violence<\/strong> (only <\/strong>in the first 5 days<\/strong>)<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 <\/strong>During the first few days large amount of toxic substances will be expelled through<\/strong> sweat, <\/strong>\u00a0stool and urine.\u00a0 When the urine turns from<\/strong> turbid<\/strong> to clear; stool turns from black, green, or white to normal; the face color turns from gray pale to pink; <\/strong>the tongue color turns from heavy yellow coating or texture cracking to flesh color and fuller flat, <\/strong>it is the sign of recovery which usually happens after the first 4-5 days<\/strong>. Patient will<\/strong> <\/strong>then <\/strong>have good appetite <\/strong><\/strong> for <\/strong>more <\/strong>food.<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/strong>Some patients may feel slight eyesight retardation thus reading books and TV watching should be avoided.\u00a0 The eyesight will get back to normal after <\/strong>the 5th<\/strong> day. Some patients may have illusion<\/strong>, imaginary<\/strong> hearing or acting like to use drug. It will be gone after <\/strong>the 5th<\/strong> days.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For drug addicts, <\/strong><\/strong>876<\/strong> pcs of #1 and 1,<\/strong>206<\/strong> <\/strong>pcs of #2 consumed<\/strong>. Total consumption: <\/span><\/strong>2,082<\/strong> pcs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For alcoholics, 330 pcs of #1, 750 pcs of #2, and 1,120 pcs of #3 consumed. Total consumption: 2,200 pcs.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
